On Wednesday June 28, 2018, the ISIFoR Carnot institute and Extra&Co will be organizing their first ever “THINK OUT OF THE LUNCH BOX” at the Technopole Hélioparc in Pau. Focusing on funding for innovation – to kick off a series of theme-based meetings at lunchtime – , this opportunity for a leisurely meeting took place in two phases: a thirty-minute presentation of the funding systems proposed by Bpifrance and chaired by Guillaume Bonnemaison, business advisor in innovation in this structure, followed by discussions and debates (questions, best practices, know-how, feedback, upcoming projects, R&D issues, etc.), over lunch.
The event was a resounding success, and 25 people attended the first edition from start-ups, SOHO-SME, MSE, major groups and institutions (DRV UPPA, AST, CCI, competitiveness clusters, research laboratories) from South West France, most of them working in georesources. The immediate feedback from the satisfaction survey confirmed the success of the first edition and the use of the new tools presented by certain companies in the near future.
So the aim of the first “THINK OUT OF THE LUNCH BOX” was achieved: to nurture existing relationships with partners, introduce them to one another to create a positive local network and coach companies in their research, development and innovation projects.
