From september 1 to 6, the Hotel Parc Beaumont welcomed ISS2019 (Imaging Summer School 2019), an international summer school about X-ray imaging. For the occasion, world-renowned experts came to share their knowledges with 36 attendees from 10 different countries. The theorical and practical work sessions were held in a friendly atmosphere and combined with a full agenda of visits (the University of Pau and Adour Countries, the city and a part of the region). This summer school was a huge success, as evidenced by one of the participants: “Rare are the events going way beyond expectations!”.
